Ballston VA to Adams Morgan, DC 22 January, 2011 (6 miles)
A cold wintry morning, the temperature at 19 degrees, we headed out for breakfast at Georgetown. Half way we changed our minds and decided to go to the Falafel shop in Adams Morgan. It was worth it. The usually overcrowded place was quiet. I often feel myself rushing through the falafels, because of the crowd. We were the only customers on that winter day and took our time savoring the hot spicy falafels. Totally worth the 6 miles walk. Then we had cappucino at a cafe Tryst and took the metro home.
